ICHA President’s Message- July 2009
Mission Statement: Promote and provide both weekend shows and aged events that will enhance the Cutting Horse interests, activities and industry.
Hello Cutters,
It is hard to believe that by the time you read this, it will already be July! Thanks to those of you who attended our ICHA Western Idaho Summer Show in Nampa.
For those of you who we missed at the Nampa show, we hope to see you in Idaho Falls at the Riverbend Ranch Show July 31st & August 1st (Friday & Saturday). It will be two shows over two days. We will be requiring pre-entry, as well as stall reservations, for this show so please be sure to make those arrangements with our show secretary by July 24th. This will provide us with an opportunity to guarantee plenty of fresh cattle and stalls for everyone who wants to come and attend the show in this new location.
I would like to express my appreciation to the wonderful show staff that worked so diligently to put on a fantastic show in Nampa in June—John & Lennie Uhrig, Mike Combs, Sue Marostica, Cathy Carpenter, Sherry Rhoades, Hitchiker Productions and Scootemnshootem Photography. A special thank you goes out to Jody Cada for staffing our practice pen help. As always, the Idaho Horse Park staff (Rod, Gary, Sally, Marty and their crew) did a wonderful job for us at a great facility.
ICHA Futurity & Aged Event entries opened June 15th. Check out our website www.idahocha.com for all of the information for that show. We have a lot of fun things planned, and we hope to see many of you there with your aged event horses.
