The ICHA strives to put on quality shows.  It is goal of every board and committee member to make sure the ground is the best it can be, the cattle are fresh, and everyone has a chance to compete to the best of their abilities.  What sets us apart from the rest  is to do all of this while making it FUN, FUN, FUN!

Welcome to Idaho Party
Tuesday September 1, 2009 - Idaho Horse Park

The Welcome to Idaho Party welcomes all the contestants and sponsors to our show at the beginning.  Local restaurants bring samples of their wares for an evening of food, drink, and merriment.  All of the contestants receive maps to these restaurants to know where they can go where they will be welcomed with open arms and great food!  Take a look at the restaurants our contestants will be enjoying.

Tailgate Party
Eh-Capa Bareback Riders

Out back by the VIP Tent, open to everyone.  Similar to a pot luck, the Thomas Management will furnish a pulled pork sandwich and everyone else contribute something to the pot.  Entertainment and the Eh-Capa Bareback Riders, youth’s ages 8-19 performing without bridles and saddles.

Marines Toys for Tots

Wine Tasting & Art Show - Friday September 4, 2009
Art Show all day - Wine Tasting from 4-7:00 PM

Our contestants will enjoy the talents of local and regional artists and the fine wines from the wineries of Idaho.  You won’t want to miss this!

Cutting Edge Fashion Show
Saturday September 5, 2009  5:00 PM

Saturday and Sunday will be a special treat for our contestants with Fashion Vendors with the whole family in mind.  Saturday evening will set the mood for our Futurity Open Finals with our Cutting Edge Fashion Show and Dinner.  This year’s special project is Ride for Joy.  A percentage of the proceeds raised from the Fashion Show Vendors will go to support this Theraputic Riding Program for children with special needs.  Click Here for more details.  If you wish to have dinner it is by advance reservation only.  208-442-3300

Bridleless Cutting & Calcutta
Sunday September 6, 2009 6:00 PM

Sunday evening will be a fun filled, fast paced evening with Derby Amateur Finals and Classic/Challenge Amaeture Finals.  Ten bridleless competitors will be auctioned off  as a Calcutta.  This is a very exciting event depicting the true talent of these horses.  Dinner will be served at the arena and then off to the Finals.  Dinners are advanced reservation only and tickets can be purchased at the Idaho Horse Park.  208-442-3300.

Woodriver Cellars Champions Dinner

Woodriver Cellars will be bussing all of our finalists to their award winning Winery in Eagle for an amazing evening of Bocce Ball, Texas Hold um, delicious Prime Rib Dinner with all the fixings, and Live Entertainment.  If you did not make the finals and would still like to go, tickets will be available with Kathryn or Sally at the show.
